JMTA’s Mental Performance and Wellness program develops and improves competitive skills, concentration, confidence, emotional control, and visualization and rituals, on and off the court.
Mental performance coaching provides strategies to handle pressure, maintain focus, and make smart decisions during crucial moments in matches. Players learn techniques to improve their competitive mindset and to increase their ability to perform in challenging situations.
Maintaining focus and concentration throughout matches is vital. Mental performance sessions teach players techniques and exercises to improve their concentration skills. This involves mindfulness practices, visualization exercises, and attention control strategies to help players stay present and focused during matches.
Building and maintaining confidence is essential for success in tennis. Mental performance coaching helps players develop a strong sense of self-belief.
